| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field occupied by the characteristic Lucchese monogram, a complex interlaced ligature combining the letters of LVCA in a bold, angular design typical of early medieval Lombard coinage. A horizontal letter R is positioned prominently above the monogram. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, consistent with hand-hammered production of the period. No legend surrounds the device; the design fills the field within a plain or beaded border. |
