Obverse description	At right, an oval intaglio vignette presents a portrait of Damdiny Sükhbaatar in military uniform with a decorative sash; at left, the national emblem of the Mongolian People's Republic appears within an ornate frame, with the year '1941' inscribed above in Cyrillic. The central field carries the Cyrillic inscription 'Бүгүд Найрамдах Монгол Ард Улс' (Mongolian People's Republic), while the denomination numeral '1' occupies each corner. Vertical traditional Mongolian script borders frame both sides of the note.
