| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field bears a bold multi-line Arabic legend in raised relief, rendered in an informal Nastaliq hand characteristic of Central Asian hammered coinage. The inscription is enclosed within a plain inner circle, beyond which an ornate outer border of scrolling floral and vine motifs with pellet clusters frames the entire design. The die workmanship reflects the provincial imitative tradition of Sinkiang, with slightly irregular letter forms and a deeply struck, uneven flan. |
