Above the cityscape, a radiant tetragrammaton — the divine name of Jehovah — shines down in glory with bold sunrays filling the upper field. The Latin motto DOMINUS PROVIDEBIT (The Lord will provide) arcs across the upper legend within a laurel wreath border. The Roman numeral date MDCLXXXXVI is inscribed on a raised tablet or ground line beneath the city view, with ornate scrollwork decorating the lower exergue. |
