| Obverse description | Draped bust of Duke Sylvius Friedrich of Württemberg-Oels facing right, wearing elaborate period dress with lace cravat and armour, his long curled wig rendered in fine detail. A second, smaller bust — that of his consort Duchess Eleonora Charlotte — appears in profile behind him, also facing right, the two effigies presented in juxtaposition. A laurel wreath borders the entire design, framing the field. The circumferential Latin legend is divided into two registers identifying both rulers by title and name. |
