The entire composition is supported on either side by a mermaid (siren) in high relief, each depicted from the waist up with fishtail below, flanking the shields with outstretched arms. | Opis rewersu | Crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed, with wings spread, each head surmounted by a separate crown and both heads beneath a central imperial crown. An ornate escutcheon on the breast bears the Habsburg arms. The eagle's talons grasp a sword and sceptre. Flanking the eagle are decorative sprigs of laurel and oak. The surrounding legend reads FERDINAND·II·D·G·ROM·IMP·SEMP·AUG·GE·HU·BO·REX, all within a beaded border. |
