| Description de l’avers | Armored bust of Prince Mihály Apafi I facing right, wearing elaborately decorated plate armor with a plumed helmet visible above, and a sword at his side. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the baroque style typical of Transylvanian thaler coinage of the mid-17th century. The portrait is surrounded by a beaded inner border, with the Latin legend divided by decorative leaf stops running around the periphery. The prince's armor is richly chased with ornamental detail, reflecting the artistic conventions of the Sibiu mint. |

| Description du revers | Central shield bearing the arms of Transylvania — comprising the seven castles of the Saxon towns, the Transylvanian eagle, and the sun and moon — surmounted by a crested helm with mantling, all set within an ornate baroque cartouche. Below the shield, the arms of the Székely nation and further heraldic elements are displayed. A wreath of laurel and palm branches frames the central composition. The date 1662 appears in the upper field, divided by the crowned shield, and the peripheral Latin legend identifying the prince's titles runs around the coin separated by leaf stops, within a beaded border. |
