A decorative foliate ornament separates the main text from the exergue, which is divided by a double horizontal rule and contains the concluding motto SIT VNIO HAEC PERENNIS ('May this union be everlasting') in two lines, with the mint-master's initials C.G.L. at the very base. A small asterisk ornament appears at the top of the field. |
