| Descrizione del rovescio | The entire reverse field is occupied by a ten-line Latin inscription in capital letters, praising the union of the Hohenlohe-Langenburg line and naming the four counts — Ludovicus, Philippus Christianus, Carolus Henricus, and Augustus — born of the same fraternal stock. A decorative foliate ornament separates the main text from the exergue, which is divided by a double horizontal rule and contains the concluding motto SIT VNIO HAEC PERENNIS ('May this union be everlasting') in two lines, with the mint-master's initials C.G.L. at the very base. A small asterisk ornament appears at the top of the field. |
