| Popis rubu | Elaborate quartered coat of arms of the Archbishopric of Salzburg, featuring the imperial eagle and traditional Salzburg heraldic devices, displayed on a large shield. The shield is supported on either side by rampant lions serving as heraldic supporters, each facing inward toward the arms. A princely crown surmounts the shield above, and below the shield a decorative swag of laurel or drapery ornament spans the lower field. The date 17-90 is divided and placed in the lower field on either side of the central decorative element, flanking the base of the shield. The overall composition is bold and finely executed in the Baroque heraldic tradition. |
