Obverse description Three armored half-length figures of the co-ruling dukes Georg III, Ludwig IV, and Christian are depicted facing the viewer, their long hair falling to their shoulders in the Baroque fashion of the period. The brothers are portrayed in close proximity, filling the field within a beaded inner circle, with a small imperial orb positioned at the top of the circle. Arabesque ornamental devices appear beneath the busts, enhancing the decorative Baroque composition. The encircling Latin legend, separated from the central design by the beaded border, identifies the three brothers by name.
