Reverse description Two adjacent heraldic shields of arms displayed side by side, the dexter shield bearing the old Mansfeld arms and the sinister shield the new Mansfeld arms, each surmounted by an ornate crested helmet with elaborate mantling. A circular Latin legend surrounds the composition, incorporating the mint and monetary authority abbreviations, with the last two digits of the date appearing at the conclusion of the legend. The reverse exhibits the characteristic symmetrical heraldic composition of contemporaneous German territorial coinage.
