The shield is supported by decorative strapwork and rests above a small ornamental device at its base. The circular legend EIN THALER XIV EINE F.M. flanks the upper portion of the design, and the date 1852 appears in the exergue below the shield. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded border. |
