| Obverse description | The central field displays the large, elaborately quartered coat of arms of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, surmounted by a princely crown, and flanked on either side by two standing wildmen (Wilde Männer) serving as heraldic supporters, each holding a club. The shield incorporates multiple heraldic quarterings including lions, a horse, and checkered fields, rendered in high relief with fine detail. A decorative foliate base supports the ensemble. The circular legend reads D • G • CAROLVS - DVX • BRVNSVIC • - LVNEB • followed by the date 1750, divided around the periphery in Latin. |
