The circumferential legend EX. VISCERIBUS. FODINÆ. MEHLBAC. refers to the silver ore extracted from the Mehlbach mine. The date appears at the end of the legend, while the exergue contains the fineness designation FEIN. SILBER and the mintmaster's initials VDK. |
