The quartered shield incorporates the arms of the Archbishopric of Salzburg and the personal arms of the Dietrichstein family, set within baroque scrollwork and cartouche ornaments. The date 1750 is split across the upper field, flanked by the legend SALISBURG. The full circular Latin legend reads around the coin within the dentilated border, referencing the archbishop's titles as Apostolic Legate and Primate of Germany. |
