| 背面描述 | Laureate and armoured bust of Emperor Joseph II facing right, depicted with flowing hair and draped in classical Roman-style armour with elaborate pauldron detail; the engraver's initials B·F· appear on the truncation. The encircling legend, separated by mullets, reads IOSEPHVS II. D. G. ROM. IMP. SEMP. AVG. B. F., identifying the subject as Joseph II, by the Grace of God, Holy Roman Emperor, Forever August. The portrait is executed in the high Baroque manner with strongly modelled relief and fine detail in the hair and armour. |
