Surmounting the shield is a displayed eagle perched atop an orb and sceptre, with wings spread and head turned to the right, holding a laurel sprig in its beak. The date 1766 appears in the lower field below the shield. The circular legend runs along the milled border in two segments reading MON. REIP. to the left and RATISPON. to the right. |
