Obverse description Displayed crowned eagle with spread wings, depicted facing forward within a beaded inner circle. The eagle's plumage is rendered in fine relief typical of hammered Renaissance coinage. The surrounding field bears the Latin legend of the joint rulers, divided by the eagle's form.
