| 背面描述 | Central field occupied by a large Baroque cartouche with elaborate acanthus and foliate scrollwork framing a two-line Latin inscription, with the date below. An oval medallion reserve appears at the top of the cartouche, left blank or lightly incuse. The inscription PRÆOCCVPEMVS / FACIEM EIVS, a biblical quotation from Psalm 95, is boldly rendered in capital letters across two lines in the centre of the cartouche, with the date · 1699 · beneath in numerals flanked by pellet stops. The whole is surrounded by a finely toothed beaded border. |
