| 背面描述 | A bold five-line Latin inscription — MELIVS / EST DARE / QVAM / ACCIPERE / 1685 — set within a finely engraved baroque cartouche formed by symmetrical scrollwork volutes terminating in foliate motifs at the top and bottom. The text, drawn from the Acts of the Apostles (20:35), is rendered in evenly spaced serif capital letters. The date 1685 appears beneath the main legend within the lower portion of the cartouche. The entire design is contained within a plain field bounded by a finely milled outer border. |
