| Beschrijving voorzijde | Hammered silver tanka with multi-line Arabic legend in cursive Naskh script occupying the central field within a foliated circle. The inner legend reads the honorific titles of the Abbasid Caliph: 'yamin khalifat allah nasir amir al-mu'minin ghawth al-islam wa'l muslimin khuld khilafatahu,' asserting the sultan's legitimacy through caliphal sanction. The marginal legend surrounding the foliated circle contains the mint name (Firuzabad Baldat) and the regnal year, though both are partially off-flan on this specimen. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, typical of hand-struck Bengal Sultanate coinage of this period. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Hammered silver tanka with multi-line Arabic legend in cursive Naskh script arranged within a central circle across the field. The inner legend proclaims the sultan's titles and lineage: 'al-wathiq bi-ta'yid al-rahman abu'l mujahid sikandar shah bin ilyas shah al-sultan,' affirming Sikandar Shah's descent from Ilyas Shah and his devotion to divine support. The marginal legend carries the formula 'al-imam al-a'azam wa'l khalifat al-mu'azzam' alongside the names of the four Rightly Guided Caliphs distributed in four subsidiary circles at the cardinal points. The flan displays the characteristically irregular, hand-cut edges of Bengal Sultanate hammered coinage, with bold, deeply struck relief lettering. |
