Reverse description The reverse field is divided into two registers by a horizontal rule and carries a multi-line Arabic inscription in Naskh script. The upper register displays a bold, sweeping legend occupying the full width of the field, while the lower register bears the partial dynastic attribution reading بن محمود شاه ('son of Mahmud Shah'), identifying the issuing sultan's lineage. The lettering is deeply struck with characteristic thick strokes, consistent with the hammered billon coinage of the Gujarat Sultanate under Shams al-Din Muzaffar Shah III.
