| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse features a central field filled with a multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script, giving the sultan's additional titulature including his epithet as the second Alexander and his claim to caliphal authority. An outer marginal legend runs around the circumference within a circular border, separated from the central text by a plain inner ring, and contains the mint name Fīrūzābād (ḥaḍrat) and the AH date 758. The overall composition is well-organized, with the marginal and central inscriptions clearly differentiated. The hammered flan gives the coin a slightly irregular, concave surface with natural flow lines visible in the silver. The style is consistent with Bengal Sultanate tanka coinage of the mid-fourteenth century. |
