The field is divided into three horizontal lines of legend reading 'Firuz Shah sultani darabat bi-hadrat Dehli' (Firuz Shah, the Sultan, struck at the Sublime Court of Delhi), with the text filling the available field to the margins. The lettering is executed in a robust Naskh-influenced hand characteristic of Tughluq-period coinage, with no additional decorative motifs or borders. |
