| Popis líce | Hammered silver field bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in bold raised script, filling the entire coin face within an irregular flan. The central inscription carries the Kalima or royal title in characteristic Bengal Sultanate calligraphic style, with the Arabic text arranged in four to five lines across the field. The lettering is deeply struck and robust, characteristic of late fifteenth-century Bengal hammered coinage. The date AH 899 appears within the legend. The flan edges are irregular and slightly ragged, consistent with the hand-hammering technique of the period. |
