Beschrijving voorzijde Central square cartouche enclosing the Tibetan date numerals in two lines, flanked at each corner by a raised dot; the cartouche is surrounded by four large bold swirl or triskelion scroll motifs occupying the quadrants of the field, with smaller scroll elements filling the interstices, all executed in high relief. The entire composition is contained within a plain inner border, itself enclosed by a beaded outer circle that runs close to the rim. The overall design has a strong, symmetrical character typical of Kong-par mint coinage of the late eighteenth century.

Beschrijving keerzijde Central ornate lotus medallion set within a double-line circle, its petals rendered in fine relief against a recessed field. Surrounding the inner circle, the Eight Auspicious Buddhist Symbols (Ashtamangala) — comprising the white parasol, conch shell, treasure vase, victory banner, dharma wheel, pair of golden fish, endless knot, and lotus flower — are arranged within the petals of an eight-petalled lotus that fills the field to the outer border. The composition is framed by a beaded periphery, and the overall execution reflects the characteristic artistic conventions of Tibetan religious coinage.
