正面描述 Central device depicts the national emblem of Bangladesh: a water lily (shapla) in bloom rising above stylized rippling water, flanked on either side by curved wheat sheaves. Four five-pointed stars arc above the emblem, with a jute plant motif at the apex. The design is set within a flat octagonal inner border, and the denomination legend ONE TAKA appears in the lower exergue in incuse Latin lettering.

附加信息

The FAO coinage program funded by the Food and Agriculture Organization produced issues across dozens of developing nations from the 1960s onward, with Bangladesh participating through several denominations. These were not commemoratives in any collector sense — they were intended as working circulation pieces carrying an agricultural message, and most saw genuine use in the Bangladeshi economy through the late 1990s.

The brass composition of this KM#9b issue distinguishes it from the earlier steel and aluminum iterations of the same type.
