Obverse description Standing armored figure of King Christian IV holding his scepter in the right hand over the shoulder and a globus cruciger in the outstretched left hand. The figure is partially within a rope circle and the date is divides at sides of King knees. Legend is outside the circle with mintmark at end (always between scepter point and King`s crown).

Reverse description Central ornate oval shield with Arms of Denmark is encircled by a ring of 13 shields of Danish Territories and dipendencies. The central shield is also above a cross with Danish Crown in its upper arm, at same level of the other shields. King’s motto is around central shield, cut in four parts by cross arms. All the shield are inside a pearled circle with legend outside and the pendant of the Order of the Elephant in lower position.
