The dragon is depicted prostrate in the lower field, its wings outstretched and claws extended. The date appears in the exergue below the ground line, flanked by the mintmaster's initials 'B.P.' to the right, referencing the Pistrucci design heritage. The entire composition is unlettered save for the date, occupying a wide, uncluttered field enclosed by a raised beaded border. |
