| Obverse description | Uncrowned right-facing effigy of King Charles III occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with finely detailed portrait work engraved by Matt Tindall. The legend KING CHARLES III arcs along the upper left periphery, while ISLE OF MAN curves along the upper right. The date 2023 appears in the lower exergue. The design follows the official first coinage portrait of Charles III as adopted for Isle of Man issues. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents a decorative cartouche framed by ornate acanthus leaf scrollwork, at the top of which the triskelion emblem of the Isle of Man is prominently displayed flanked by foliate ornaments. Within the cartouche, the commemorative inscription reads IN REMEMBRANCE / THESE ARE THEY / WHO FOR THEIR / COUNTRY & FREEDOM'S / SAKE LOVED NOT / THEIR LIVES UNTO / THE DEATH... in multiple lines across the field. The Roman numeral date MMXXIII appears beneath the cartouche, with the fineness mark GOLD .916 inscribed along the lower rim. The overall design pays tribute to veterans of the Royal British Legion in a dignified, heraldic style. |
