| Reverse description | At center within a beaded circle, the shield of Denmark is depicted, bearing the traditional heraldic arms of the realm. Above the shield, a crescent moon and a star are prominently placed as additional heraldic or mint ornaments. The reverse legend, running outside the beaded circle, reads MONE · NOVA · HAFNENS · and concludes with the last two digits of the date, identifying this as a new coinage struck at Copenhagen. The overall design reflects the hammered small-denomination coinage style common to Scandinavian mints of the early sixteenth century. |
