| 背面描述 | A highly detailed relief depiction of Khan Tengri Peak dominates the central field, rendered with naturalistic precision to convey the dramatic rocky face and snow-covered ridges of the mountain. The lower portion of the field is treated in a contrasting polished finish, evoking a glacial lake or snowfield at the base of the peak. The Cyrillic legend ХАН-ТЕҢИРИ is inscribed in the upper field above the mountain. The denomination 1 СОМ is placed in two lines at the lower centre of the field beneath the mountain composition. |

Khan Tengri — "Lord of the Spirits" in Turkic — sits on the tripoint border of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and China, and was first summited in 1931 by a Ukrainian-led Soviet expedition. For decades the peak was misidentified as the highest point in the Tian Shan range until survey work confirmed that nearby Jengish Chokusu exceeded it. The Kyrgyz National Bank has issued a broader circulation commemorative series honoring the country's defining geography, of which this Som forms part.
