| Obverse description | Draped bust of Duke Carl of Saxony facing right, depicted with curled hair tied at the nape, within a beaded or plain inner circle. The surrounding legend in Latin reads D · G · CAROL · PR · REG · POLON · & · SAX, identifying the sitter as Carl, Prince of the Kingdom of Poland and Saxony, by the Grace of God. The portrait is rendered in a modest relief consistent with small copper coinage of the mid-eighteenth century. |

| Reverse description | Central shield divided into two quarters, displaying an eagle passant to the left on the dexter side and a rearing horse or stag on the sinister side, representing the arms of Courland and Semigallia respectively. The shield is surmounted by a ducal crown and set at a slight angle within the field. The denomination SOLID appears in the exergue below the shield, while the date 1762 is integrated into the surrounding legend IN · LIV · CVRLAND · & · SEM · DVX · 1762, identifying Carl as Duke of Livonia, Courland, and Semigallia. |
