Reverse description The denomination expressed as 'I SKIL DANS' appears in three lines within a central beaded or linear circle, occupying the primary field. The surrounding legend continues the royal titles in abbreviated Latin, with the regnal date appearing at the close of the legend alongside the mintmark of a halberd denoting the Copenhagen Mint. Two date varieties are known for this type: 1652 and 1653. The reverse lettering and layout conform to the standard format employed for Danish billon skillings of this period.
