| Descrizione del rovescio | Central field bears a floriated cross pattée with elaborate foliate terminals at each arm, the ends expanding into trefoil or leafy cusps in the Gothic decorative tradition of 15th-century Milanese coinage. Small ornamental devices, including what appear to be crowns or floral rosettes, are placed in the angles between the cross arms. The circumferential legend runs between the beaded inner border and the irregular outer edge of the flan. |
