The figure rests on a plain ground line, with the engraver's signature PERANZA incised below. The surrounding legend RELINQVO VOS LIBEROS AB VTROQUE HOMINE — the saint's traditional valediction — arcs around the periphery, while the denomination UNO SCUDO appears in the lower field. The design is rendered in sharp, high-relief engraving characteristic of San Marino's gold coinage of this period. |
