The peripheral legend IOANNES·CORNELIO·DVX·VEN·A·M· runs along the inner border, itself separated from the toothed outer rim by a beaded inner circle. |

The lion is depicted with wings spread and body facing left in a heraldic posture. Below the cartouche, the denomination numeral 140 is prominently displayed between two rosette stops in the lower exergual area. The circumferential legend SANCTVS·MARCVS·VENET· runs along the inner beaded border, with the entire design enclosed within a toothed outer rim. |
