| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field occupied by a quartered coat of arms displaying the fleurs-de-lis of Orléans and the biscione (Visconti serpent) of Milan, surmounted by radiating sunrays issuing from the top. A fleur-de-lis appears to the left of the shield and a serpent to the right, serving as lateral supporters. The entire device is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the uncial Latin legend running continuously in the outer field between two beaded borders. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | An ornate floriated cross with elaborately decorated arms occupies the central field, its terminals and interstices embellished with fleurs-de-lis and biscioni (coiled serpents) alternating in the four angles — two lilies and two snakes disposed in opposing quarters. The cross is executed in a highly decorative Gothic style with multiple mouldings and foliate extensions. The reverse legend in uncial Latin script runs continuously within the outer beaded border, invoking the Christus vincit formula. |
