Reverse description The reverse is dominated by a plain long cross extending to the coin's edge, dividing the field into four quarters. Each quarter contains a segment of the mint and date legend: MO - REV - ALI - 60 -, referencing Moneta Revaliensis and incorporating the last two digits of the mint year. The quarters also display heraldic charges consistent with the arms of Reval (Tallinn), including what appear to be lions or other civic devices rendered in the crude but expressive style characteristic of hammered schillings of this period. The flan is irregular, and strike weakness is evident in places.
