正面描述	Printed in green ink, the obverse carries the large numeral "1" at center against a rising sun vignette with radiating rays, flanked by palm tree motifs at left and right. The inscription "SATU RUPIAH" appears in bold letterpress below the central vignette, with the authority text "BERLAKU UNTUK SUB PROPINSI SUMATERA SELATAN" across the upper portion beneath the header "REPUBLIK INDONESIA / TANDA PEMBAJARAN JANG SAH". The serial number, place and date "BUKITTINGGI, 1.1.1948" are printed below, along with the manuscript signature of the Governor of Sumatra.

背面描述	The reverse is printed entirely in green and composed of an elaborate guilloche underprint filling the entire field, with large numerals "1" repeated at left and right margins. A central rectangular panel, framed by fine line borders, contains a block of Indonesian legal text citing the applicable articles of law. The overall design is simple and typographic, relying on the dense wave-pattern guilloche for visual security.
