Reverse description Central design features a stylised mountain landscape with a rising sun above the summit, all enclosed within a wreath of two wheat or rice stalks tied at the base. The Bikram Sambat date 2010 appears beneath the mountain within the wreath. The Devanagari legend denoting the Government of Nepal arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 'Ek Rupaiyan' (One Rupee) is inscribed in Devanagari along the lower periphery. The entire design is bordered by a uniform row of denticles.
