| Obverse description | Central field features a trident (trishula) within a raised circular medallion, set within a stylized swastika-form panel rendered in the traditional Nepalese yantra design. The four quadrants of the panel bear the royal name and titles in Devanagari script — 'Shri Shri Shri Tribhuvana Bir Bikram Shah Deva Maharajadhiraja' — distributed across the compartments. The corners of the yantra display auspicious Hindu symbols including a sun, conch shell, fly-whisk (chowri), and a kukri knife. The Bikram Samvat regnal year appears at the base of the central panel, all enclosed within a milled border. |
