| Beschrijving voorzijde | Octagonal hammered silver flan with a dotted border running along all eight sides. The field is entirely occupied by a four-line Assamese inscription in the Bengali-Assamese script, reading the royal legend of King Siva Singha together with the Saka era date 1637. The characters are boldly struck in relief against a flat field, exhibiting the characteristic calligraphic style of Ahom coinage. No figurative motif is present; the design is purely epigraphic, consistent with the numismatic tradition of the Ahom kingdom. |
