Description de l’avers Inscription: Shah Alam II Large, stalked sunflower between the words “Alam” and “Badshah” Narrow leaf with droplet; Plant with 5 heads, 1 stem and 2 leaves (in some varieties, the trident can also be found) The sunflower may fairly be regarded as the mintmark of Chhatarpur mint, and hence, of Panna state before it was dismembered. (Barry Tabor)

Légende de l’avers AH ١١٩٠ (1190), with retrograde 9
Description du revers From RY 18, the date moves to the middle of the bottom line of the legend. Coins with RY 18 are dated AH 1190. This is towards the end of the reign of Hindupat Singh (1758–1777), and the reason for this date being chosen for such a change is obscure. (Barry Tabor)
