The AH date and regnal year (julus) appear prominently, following the standard Mughal formulaic arrangement. The marginal legend contains additional pious epithets or formulaic phrases typical of Mughal silver rupees. The calligraphy is bold and deeply struck, characteristic of Maratha-controlled Burhanpur mint issues of this period. |
