| 背面描述 | The reverse is divided into three horizontal registers of Nasta'liq Persian script, separated by curved lines in the traditional Mughal rupee format. The upper register records the mint epithet; the central register bears the frozen regnal year 19 (١٩) of Shah Alam II's reign together with the word 'Julus' (accession); and the lower register names the mint city of Murshidabad. Rosette or floral ornaments appear at the junctions of the legend bands, and the coin is encircled by a reeded border. The date is frozen at regnal year 19, a convention maintained by the Bengal Presidency at the Calcutta mint well after the actual year of issue. |
