| Opis awersu | Central field bears the royal Persian legend 'Sikka Mubarak Badshah Ghazi' (Blessed coin of the King, Warrior of the Faith) in Nasta'liq calligraphy, arranged in three horizontal registers separated by raised lines. The name 'Muhammad Shah' appears prominently in the upper register. The irregular flan is characteristic of hand-struck Mughal coinage, with portions of the marginal legend visible around the rim. |

| Opis rewersu | The reverse displays the mint and regnal year formula in Nasta'liq script across two or three horizontal registers, reading 'Sana Julus Zarb' (year of accession, struck at) followed by the mint name Khanbayat (Cambay) and the regnal year. Decorative floral or foliate ornaments and pellets appear in the margins, typical of Mughal hammered rupees of the period. The flan edges are irregular, consistent with hand-struck production. |
