The legend reads across the field in large, fluid script characteristic of Jahangiri coinage. The entire design is enclosed within a plain inner border and an outer dentilated (dotted) rim. The coin exhibits attractive iridescent cabinet toning over the silver flan, with the hammered surfaces showing slight irregularity typical of hand-struck Mughal rupees. |

| Opis rewersu | The reverse field is similarly dominated by bold Nasta'liq calligraphy in two principal horizontal registers, recording the emperor's name and titles along with the regnal year and mint name. The upper portion bears the name and titles of Emperor Jahangir, while the lower register contains the Hijri date and the mint name Ahmadabad. A numeral indicating the regnal year appears within the field. The design is framed by a dentilated border consistent with the obverse, and the flan shows the characteristic irregular edge of a hammered coin. |
