| Reverse description | Central field features the Shahada and additional Islamic declarations arranged within a raised square cartouche, rendered in bold naskh calligraphy. The names of the four Rightly Guided Caliphs — Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali — are distributed in the four corners or margins surrounding the central square. The regnal year in Hijri numerals appears within or adjacent to the central panel. Decorative linear borders frame the square, and an outer marginal border with geometric ornament encircles the entire design. The strike is characteristic of hammered Suri rupees, with slight weakness at the flan edges. |
